• 2% of the US population has chronic non-healing wounds.
• The cost burden of managing chronic wounds in the US is estimated to over $ 50 Billion.

• Implemented an app for Android and iOS that users could leverage to comfortably detect wound-infection.

• Designed and developed Android and iOS application.
  • The apps included responsive design and instant machine learning model usage.
• Collaborated with the software team in training the machine learning model using 2000 images.

Results

93-95% accuracy in automatic wound detection.
